I begin by lighting a candle, grounding my feet on the floor, and setting my intention. I repeat the following outloud: It is my intention to release confusion and open to the clarity that my own soul can offer my heart, and my heart can offer my mind.
I then take the oil of Clarity, rub a drop on my forehead, heart, and two inches below the navel, thus anointing the mind, heart, and soul. This embodies the intention. Gazing into the candle, the symbol of light, I begin to follow my breath.
Inviting a settling and allowing my eyes to close, I move into more stillness, and then I allow a deeper settling. Breathe. Allow. Breathe. Allow. I feel the lifting of the pressure and the quieting of my mind as I follow my breath entering and leaving my body. I begin to focus on the places in my body where the stillness is being created.

I experience that my breath is breathing me, realizing that I am in touch with my spirit. I ask my spirit to give me clarity, releasing my thinking mind and what that means – I just allow the feeling experience. Knowing that by the end of the ritual, several hours later, or even several days later, in accordance with my soul’s rhythm, clarity will begin to fill my being. I trust that my request for clarity will be answered.
Please know that if during your ritual you are moving in a different direction, follow the direction from your own deep self, it will always be the best for you.
Sitting quietly in the company of my own soul and heart, knowing that I am supported and feeling the essence of the deep presence that guides my life, I give thanks for life and honor life. When I feel it is time to close the ritual, giving thanks to my spirit I blow out the candle, sending the light and my intention out to the universe.
